This monument is in Key West closest to Cuba. Remember the Bay of Pigs and President Kennedy during the communism scare? Some people just don't forget like Castro. All the rest of the world vacations there except US. I remember a couple of years ago a cruise ship came to Cozumel instead of Cuba due to incliment weather so I thought mayb e all countries could cruise to Cuba I guess we can't. How fair is that?

I did it. Scuba Diving in Cozumel, Mexico ( June, 2012)
I haven't blogged for so long.
Last week while I was in Cozumel, Mexico I took a short class on scuba diving like using tank dials, sign language under water and other things. Then 3 students and the instructor went 20 feet under water and scuba dived for half an hour. I felt comfortable all the time mainly because I wanted to do it so badly. I will surely do it again.. This is on my bucket list.

Glacier Bay & Juneau, Alaska
The first day we cruised into Glacier Bay and stopped to watching it watch the Marjerie Glacier for an hour or so. Jack and I took pictures of it from our room. It cracked and calved several times while we were there (cool) Then we turned the cruise ship around and sailed into Juneau. Notice how the city is built on the side of a mountain. People get here by floatplane.or water
It's good to feel cold again. I think it's in the fifties here.

Redwood trees
Northern Falifornia has lots of crops. The scenery in the Cascade Mountains is beautiful. The snow covered mountain was in northern California. We drove through the redwood national forest and took the picture of Jack's jeep driving though a giant redwood tree. We are in Seattle, Washington reeady to board the cruise ship for Alaska on Sunday.

Cheryl and Harold in Auburn, California
Harol and Cheryl Lnsing live in Auburn, Valifornia. Today Jack and I visited them. Notice the cattle, the bull they call Clyde. It bellows, is a gentle giant among the community just like Clyde so Harold and Cheryl named him after Clyde. Their backyard is very lovely. I took their picture earlier today. A good day for us. Thanks
